Echo Valley Olives established at Mangawhai in December 2002 by joint owners Don Windley and Teresa Anderson. After attending the national New Zealand Olive producer's conference in August 2002 we were inspired to become actively involved in the production of our own olive oil. We purchased a beautiful 10 acre property in Echo Valley Road situated inland from the popular holiday destination of Mangawhai Heads. Based in Auckland we traveled to Mangawhai each weekend dedicated to the task of clearing the land and transforming the property into a beautiful olive grove.

We built a solid five meter outdoor dining table beneath a grapevine draped pagoda and have enjoyed many pleasant summer evenings entertaining family and friends. Sharing the NZ / Tuscany touch of dipping breads into fresh New Zealand Olive Oil an amazing taste sensation and a special way to begin a meal.

We are passionate about our olive oil, proud of our progress in the industry and happy with our investment. The four single varieties now available are Frantoio Pendolino Marino Koroneiki and Ascalano.
